Burglary arrest

Unfortunately there was a burglary in the Ilkley area on the 21st during which a car was taken.  One male has been arrested for the offence and the car was recovered.

We dont send these message out to scare people but to ensure that you are aware of local issues.  When residents are aware of issues they are much more likely to make the early call which increases our chances of getting the right result

If you have any information in relation to the above please contact the Police on 101 or speak to a local PCSO. Please also check your CCTV or Doorbell camera if you have one during the crime timings to see if there are any activations. 

This is also a good time to check your own security, many offences are preventable with small improvements to your homes security.
